Overview
The ES-PH23487 easy servo (closed loop stepper) set comes with one NEMA 34 HSM23487H easy servo motor and one ES-DH1208 easy servo drive. The HSMH23487H easy servo motor has the holding torque of 1,232 oz-in (8Nm), and is integrated with 1,000 line encoder. Th ES-DH1208 easy servo drive can take direct 110/120 VAC voltage input without the need of a power supply, output load based current of 0.5-8.0A, and close the position loop.
Compared with open stepper loop systems, the ES-PH23487 easy servo set outperforms in no loss of steps, higher no torque reservation, much lower heating & noise, better high speed performance, quicker response, and fast acceleration.
Compared with brushless AC/DC servo systems, the ES-PH23487 easy servo set is also preferred in many applications because of is much lower cost, high low-middle speed torque, high stiffness at standstill, no gaining, no hunting, zero settling time, no configuration, and easy setup.
By default, ES-PH23487 is defaulted to operate in closed-loop / servo control mode. But with simple on-board configuration via the built-in LED on ES-DH1208, it can also operate in open loop control mode just like traditional stepper systems. Real-time motion status can be also displayed on the LED display.
The ES-PH23487 easy servo set is pre-configured for optimized performance. It takes step & direction controls and is easy to implement is OEM applications. It has been widely implemented in applications such as CNC routers, CNC mills, CNC laser cutters, gen processing machines, packing equipment...
